  • >Legacy Resorts Benefits for all Associates Show all
    • Associate Meals: A free meal per shift is provided to all associates.  This is available in the Associate lunch room at Homestead and Zermatt.  Meals are set out at Zermatt from 11:30am – 12:30pm and from 5-6pm and at Homestead from 11am - 12pm and 4:30-5:30pm.   Please be respectful and take a moderate portion as to leave enough for your fellow associates. Beverages are complimentary at both locations, but you are asked to bring your own cup or mug.  This meal is not for our vendors or associates’ families.
    • Personal and Vacation Hours:  YEAR ROUND associates are given vacation and personal hours based on years of service.  These benefits begin accruing on day 1 of employment and become available after 6 months and are then accrue and available each pay period moving forward.  Please see attached Legacy Resorts Vacation and Personal Time Policy which gives more details.
    • Insurance:  YEAR ROUND Associates are eligible for coverage under our Health, Dental, and Vision insurances if they work a minimum of 64 hours per payroll (32 hours/week) and have worked at Legacy Resorts for at least 90 days.  There are different prices for different types of coverage (Single, 2 Party, Family).  Interested associates must signup for insurance when they reach 90 days of work, have a qualifying event, or wait until Open Enrollment time.  Associates will be notified when their enrollment time comes if they have enough hours. 
    • New Hire Overnight stay with Breakfast:  All newly hired associates receive breakfast for two and an overnight stay in the best available room at check in FREE!  Each associate should use this overnight stay at the resort where they are working most often.  Associates under the age of 18 can take the overnight stay if a parent or guardian accompanies them.  Associates must use this stay after 2 weeks of employment but before 90 days of employment or the benefit will be forfeited.  Reservations are based on space availability and the required form needs to be filled out and approved by Human Resources.
    • Legacy Anniversary Certificate:  Associates are issued certificates on their anniversary based on their years of service with Legacy Resorts. Certificates are as follows:

    1-4 Years of Service: Complimentary lunch or dinner at either resort with 1 guest

    5-9 Years of Service: Complimentary overnight stay at either resort with dinner with 1 guest

    10+ Years of Service: $250 Gift Certificate to Legacy Resorts

    • 401k Retirement program:  Associates who have worked for Legacy Resorts for at least 90 days and are 18 year of age or older are eligible to participate.   401k contribution changes can be made on the 1st of each month, with the exception of contribution cancellation which can be done at any time.  It is each associate’s individual responsibility to sign up for the 401k plan if they are interested.
    • Legacy Resorts Mention Program: Any associate can receive a “mention” from guests, other associates, or management at Legacy Resorts.  “Front of the House” associates must receive 8 mentions and “Back of the House” associates must have 3 mentions to get a Mention Award.  Mention Awards can be redeemed for a selection of prizes that usually include meal certificates, overnight stays, etc.
    • Associate of the Month/ Associate of the Year:  If an associate or manager feels that someone has done a fantastic job or has gone above and beyond their normal duties, they can nominate that person for Associate of the Month.  Each month’s Associate of the Month receives a certificate and a list of prizes to choose from.  Associates of the Month will also be automatically qualified for Associate of the Year.  If they win Associate of the Year, they will get to choose from an assortment of larger prizes.
    • Annual Associate Party:  Each year, we hold an Associate of the Year Winter Party in January for all associates to attend.  At these partise, there is lots of food, giveaways, and games.  .
    • Discounts with Legacy Resorts Activity Partners:  We have worked out many partnerships with local businesses to offer discounted activities for our guests and associates.  Some businesses we have agreements with are Rocky Mountain Outfitters, Heber Valley Railroad, and Wasatch Ballooning.   Call the Homestead Activity Center or Zermatt’s Adventure Haus for information on these discounts.
