The Utah Family Reunion Resort Experience
The Homestead has the unique ability to book any activities and experiences, provide hospitable service. The wide variety of dining opportunities in addition of our talented chefs, the Homestead will help design your ideal event. The Heber Valley and the town of Midway offer many opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty that Utah has to offer. The Homestead is a short and scenic 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. While the drive is short there is a feeling of being in the mountains and away from the hurried life of the city.

Private Dining
We encourage you to utilize our banquet facilities to create a private setting for your family reunion events and meals. We have many charming rooms which can accommodate any size family. Our home-style menu will allow your family to enjoy all the comforts of a home cooked meal without all of the hassle. Please contact the Catering Department to make arrangements at 888-327-7220.
Restaurants
Join us for spectacular Sunday brunch buffet in Simon’s Restaurant. Sunday Brunch offers a variety of delicious foods from eggs benedict to prime rib, assorted salads and cheese trays. Our full dessert table offers delicious homemade pastries and desserts. Reservations must be made in advance to guarantee adequate space and availability. A credit card must be provided when making reservations. Call 888-327-7220 to make your reservation.
Fanny’s Grill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The menu in Fanny’s has a variety of options to choose from including Steaks, Pasta, Seafood, Entrée Salads and Specialty Sandwiches. Groups of 15 or more are required to contact the restaurant manager in advance at 888-327-7220.
Tent on the West Lawn
The Homestead Resort has added a tent with picnic tables for the 2010 season tailored to fit family reunions and small social events. Table cloths and additional chairs are available for an additional fee. This is a tent if for lodging guests only with a 10 rooms and/or 4 condo minimum required.
The family reunion menu is intended to be delivered to the tent and dropped off. Staff will not be available to refresh or cook the food. In some cases the group will need to cook portions of the dishes. In those cases a bag of Charcoal & a Charcoal Grill will be provided by The Homestead. Rental for the tent is $100 for a half day (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). The full day fee is $200. A $50 cleaning deposit is required.
Resort Activities
The Homestead Resort offers a wide variety of resort activities for additional costs. These activities include golfing, horseback riding, wagon/sleigh rides, fly-fishing, snowmobiling, bikes, and the Aveda Concept Spa. Enjoy a family golf tournament at our 18-hole championship golf course or a day at the spa to melt your stress away. For a truly unique experience the Homestead Crater is sure to please. Enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming or soaking inside the Homestead Crater. Reservations for activities should be made in advance to guarantee availability. Complimentary Activities
The Homestead offers many complimentary activities for our guests include; tennis, swimming, crater self-guided tours, hot tub, mineral bath, sauna, game room, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball and croquet.
Complimentary Amenities
Enjoy complimentary WIFI access, daily newspaper and free parking. All rooms include hair dryers, Aveda bath amenities, ironing boards and irons. The Homestead does not charge resort fees.
