| The Homestead has many memories for our family. My husband and I spent a week there for our Honeymoon back in 1998. The room was wonderful, the food at Fanny's excellent and the crater most fun. We even did a balloon ride and horseback riding. It would be wonderful to reconnect with our memories of the Homestead by coming back. | We brought our family to the homestead last fall for a little event I like to call the Great Kid Convention. We swam in the crater, went golfing on the beautiful golf course, played games in the yard, and soaked in the tub of our awesome suite. The area was brimming with things to do like riding the local railroad. The fall colors were gorgeous and Fannie's breakfast was amazing. It was a perfect getaway. | Our first experience with the Homestead was in Dec of 1999. I was 7 months pregnant and my husband and I had just spent 4 month apart because he was doing a job internship in NYC while I was here home in Utah supporting us both. Believe me being pregnant for the first time and all alone was hard! So that weekend he came home I knew we had to do something special. I picked him up at the airport and came to the Homestead. I didn't know too much about it - just word of mouth. But it turned out to be the perfect place to just be together after so long apart. The fire, the coziness, the breakfast!! | I first visited the Homestead with my mother and some of her students on a retreat. I didn't get to stay overnight, but I definitely remember being fascinated by the crater. I have been wanting to experience that warm water ever since! I later went again with my family. I recall really enjoying riding the horses on that visit. It has been nearly twenty years since I have been to the Homestead. I'd like experience it with my husband now! | We spend our anniversary at the Homestead. We had a charming room and bought the cute stuffed bunny that decorated the room. Now we visit fannys for breakfast when we can love the pond with the swans.
