The Experience

The Homestead offers exceptional service by providing catering and planning services for events of 10 or more people. Our Catering staff will be your guide from planning stages through the close of your retreat or event, ensuring your event will be successful. The Homestead has the ability to book your activities and experiences to meet your group's needs. Our talented chefs and the wide variety of dining opportunities allow the Homestead to create your ideal event. The Heber Valley and the town of Midway offer many opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty that Utah has to offer including blue-ribbon fly-fishing, pristine mountains and expansive golf courses. The Homestead is a short and scenic 45 minute drive from Salt Lake City. While the drive is a quick getaway from the city, the area creates the feeling of being in the mountains and away from the hurried life of the city.

Dining

We encourage you to utilize our banquet facilities to create a private setting for your gatherings and meals. We have a variety of restaurant-style facilities and conference rooms perfect for groups of all sizes. For a more intimate setting we provide offsite catering to our condominiums or homes for your convenience, which will create a unique experience your guests will remember long after the event. Resort Activities

The Homestead Resort offers a wide variety of resort activities at an additional cost.  These activities include golfing, horseback riding, wagon/sleigh rides, fly-fishing, snowmobiling, bikes, and the Aveda Concept Spa.  Enjoy an executive golf tournament at our 18-hole championship golf course or a day at the spa to melt your stress away.  For a truly unique experience the Homestead Crater is sure to please.  Enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming or soaking inside the Homestead Crater.  Reservations for activities should be made in advance to guarantee availability. The Homestead provides team-building and corporate-wellness activities perfect for retreats and team development.  Enjoy tipi building, paintball, pioneering skills, scavenger hunts or design your own activity with the help of on of partners.

The Homestead offers many complimentary activities for our guests which include; tennis, swimming, Homestead Crater self-guided tours,  hot tub, mineral bath, sauna, game room, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball and croquet.  Relax and enjoy one of our activities, perfect for families or just relaxing after a long day of meetings.
 

Complimentary Amenities

Enjoy complimentary WIFI access, daily newspaper and free parking. All rooms include hair dryers, Aveda bath amenities, ironing boards and irons.  The Homestead does not charge resort fees.
