NEW!!! We are allowing Family discounts for those who register before May 10th. The first family member will register for the full price, then each subsequent family member can register at a price reduced by $3. The discount is gone after May 10th. The discount will be automatically deducted as you register all of the family members at the same time on Active.com. If you don't register everyone at the same time, you will not get the discount. Keep in mind, this is a benefit intended only for family members that share the same current address.
Registration includes a T-shirt, refreshments, awards and drawings for the Homestead. The half
marathon course is wonderfully scenic. It starts at the Homestead Resort (700 North Homestead Drive,
Midway), runs past Soldier Hollow and on to the new trail west of Deer Creek Reservoir to the 6.55 mile
point then back to the Homestead. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains along with wonderful views
of the reservoir. The 5K course is a scenic loop along the foothills of Midway. It promises to be a
beautiful yet challenging course with a combination of road and well-groomed trail surfaces. This
isn’t your standard flat 5K.
Mention the Homestead 1/2 Marathon when calling 800.327.7220 to receive accommodations starting at $104 per night!
Enjoy the Friday Night Campfire Program, Saturday Night Concert on the Lawn and a variety
of holiday activities for the kids.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Hope Projects of Midway. Hope Projects is a unique
humanitarian outreach foundation where you can make an individual impact. All donations are used to
purchase building material for schools, medical clinics, water systems or farm animals pairs for villagers in one of
the most impoverished areas of the world. The villagers provide all the labor and Hope Projects provides the
materials, a little technical assistance, and lots of encouragement. All proceeds and donations from the races will
be matched by the Homestead Crater.
