Buggy, Wagon & Cutter Rides

Enjoy the fantastic setting at the Homestead via a private buggy, sleigh or wagon ride pulled by majestic draft horses.

In the summer, meander through Homestead's beautiful Heber Valley setting in a private buggy for two or enjoy an old-fashioned wagon ride with a group of friends or colleagues. Rides are thirty minutes long.

In the winter, enjoy a romantic sleigh ride for two and take in the gorgeous view of the snow covered Snake Creek Valley with dinner afterwards. Group sleigh rides are also available. Rides are thirty minutes long.

Horseback Riding

Take a guided horseback ride through the spectacular Wasatch Mountain State Park (one of the location shoots for Jeremiah Johnson starring Robert Redford). Climb to 6,500 feet and take in the serenity of the woods and views of wildlife, wildflowers, the Heber Valley and the spectacular canyon. Make a day of it and enjoy our picnic ride and dine in the spectacular surroundings.

Biking

Tour the beautiful Heber Valley on quiet country roads or take a challenging mountain bike ride on the trails at the Wasatch Mountain State Park. The Homestead offers guests rentals that include Trek® mountain bikes, road bikes, child carriers and helmets.
