Homestead Resort is proud to be home to the beautiful Crater Springs Golf Course. With GPS-equipped golf carts, experience the fresh mountain air while enjoying a day surrounded by the stunning Wasatch Mountains, the beautifully maintained greens, and babbling brooks. With a major face lift slated for completion by mid-June, you'll notice smoother cart paths, new ponds and water features (fed completely by crater water), and re-aligned tees, making Crater Springs by far the most picturesque golf course in Utah.
Crater Springs Golf Course is a par 72 course measuring 7,017 yards from the back tees and plays 5,091 yards from the forward tees. Our golf course rating is 73.0 from the back tees and 68.2 from the forward. Enjoy golf at Homestead Resort April 1st through October 31st (weather permitting).
To improve your game, we also have a putting green, chipping green, driving range, and club rentals. The pro shop offers golfing attire, shoes, clubs, and equipment for men, women, and children.
After an invigorating round of golf, enjoy a snack or light lunch at The Sandwich Trap. For a full menu selection, come on in to Fanny's. Or, if you've really built up an appetite, stay for dinner at Simon's and relax in our newly remodeled dining room. Golf Cart GPS
Each of our golf carts is equipped with state-of-the-art Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to ensure an enjoyable journey on the scenic Crater Springs golf course.
Graphical Hole and Green Overview
As a golfer approaches each hole, a graphical overview of the hole featuring distances to the pin, fairway hazards, landmarks, and pro tips on how best to play the hole, is displayed. As the cart approaches the green, the system displays the current pin placement with distances to the front and back of the green as well as pin distance from the center of the green.
Electronic Scoring
The Electronic Scoring feature displays the hole number, par, handicap, and player designation. This easy-to-use feature automatically adds the scores for each hole and displays the current scoring total for holes played.
Food and Beverage Ordering
With a full menu appearing at the beginning of the 9th and 18th hole, golfers can order lunch from the convenience of their carts. After making and confirming your selection, the order is immediately transmitted to a receipt printer located in the kitchen. After you finish the 9th or 18th holes, simply proceed to the restaurant, where your order will be waiting.
